I got my wisdom teeth out! haha. I didn't do anything funny...I was just sleepy...really liked the fancy doors...and took pictures of myself... I'm gonna be brave and post a picture from right after the surgery. Mostly because I think it's hilarious.
I'm not swollen, that's all gauze. I actually didn't swell much at all! Maybe a 2 out of 10 - statistic courtesy of my roommate Krystal Dey. This is me just two days later. I was still on pain meds, and had trouble eating solid foods, but that was the worst of it! :D
It's something I have been putting off for YEARS! Although as I type this the holes in my mouth are driving me nuts I am really glad I finally did it! It was actually a pretty painless experience. That may be due to the fact that all 4 had already grown in, and I guess I have a pretty high pain tolerance. I went to a pretty fancy place and actually kinda enjoyed the whole thing. I'm glad it's a once in a lifetime experience though. :)
My birthday was also Mother's Day this year! Although I sure missed having my mom there it was great getting to talk to my grandma and hear more about her life. I love this picture of her and my dad! She doesn't like pictures at all so I'm always happy when I get one of her that she's not hiding from the camera. :) She is sure one special lady who I love!
So that's it! My birthday consisted of mother's day, me mostly sleeping because of narcotics and getting 4 teeth yanked out of my mouth! Happy 24th Birthday to Me! :D
