The Travel: That One Time We Met Taylor Swift - Part 2

THE TRAVEL

Krystal was so kind to drive us all up to SLC in her fancy new car! We chatted about our plans & dreams for the night as we drove. We decided to park and then use Trax to get to the venue and dinner. Krystal had to meet some friends to get them their tickets to the pit so she went straight to the venue and we all ate at Chick-Fil-A in City Creek.

We looked pretty legit in our black pants, sparkly red shirts, and red heart sunglasses as we carried 9 tinfoil and light covered letters through the streets of SLC. A number of people asked us questions about Trax, the concert, and getting to the arena. I guess it was pretty obvious we knew where we were headed. :)

One of my favorite encounters was with a little family on Trax. They asked if we were headed to the Taylor Swift concert and we replied in the affirmative  They talked to us about our shirts and signs. Stated how lucky we were to have good tickets and then told us to have a fantastic time at the concert. It is amazing how friendly people are when you are dressed all alike and obviously heading to the best concert of the year! :)

It was also funny how many people would remark to our friend Matt how he was "suckered" into matching our group. Let me be honest when I say Matt was just as supportive and excited as we were. Even if he was the only guy in the group! Matt knows great music and an amazing artist when he sees them! :)

We arrived at the arena at approximately 6:40. We only had a short time to get meet up with TeAnna, get into the venue and find our seats. The energy just outside the venue was insane. It's amazing what happens when you pack that many Swifties into one place! I loved it! There is nothing quite like the energy that is present at a concert!

We successfully passed security with our crazy letters thanks to a super nice security guard. He understood how excited we were and got us through as quickly as he could. TeAnna got dressed up for the concert, we took a quick picture and then we went to find our seats.
