Life can get a little crazy sometimes, but I wouldn't have it any other way!

Hawaii Day 3 - MELE KALIKIMAKA

MERRY CHRISTMAS!! :D The best part of this day was getting to talk to Elder Brian Farnworth in Moldova! We woke up at 5 am panicked we had missed his call, and then he didn't end up calling until 10 am! The little bugger was watching The Dark Knight Rises with his district so they called later than they thought they would. :) For a recap of the call go here.

My family probably got sick of my antsyness in Hawaii, but I had a REALLY hard time sitting in the condo when we could have been out enjoying the island. TV, Sleep and Reading can be done on the mainland! :D I caved for a couple hours on Christmas and let them read...

...and go to Les Miserables! I liked the movie, but didn't love it. Probably because the theatre was PACKED and so we had to sit three rows back. At least we were doing "as the locals do," and seeing the movie with the rest of Kaneohe. Loved the blue stop sign in the Mall Parking lot! :D

It was another overcast day so we decided to drive on the other side of the island to see what it had to offer.

We found this cool dock and walked along it for a while. Can you see the lighthouse in the distance?? If we would have been more prepared we would have hiked to it that day.

It was a VERY windy day so the waves were pretty big! You can't really judge size in the video and picture below, but just know they were huge! :D

Luckily I was navigating today and discovered that we were only about 1/4 of a mile away from a cool spot called the blow hole. Thanks to the wind we got to see quite the show! To see what I am talking about watch the video! It's pretty cool! Made me excited to see some whales :D

We finished off the night with a Christmas Feast from....Jack in the Box! Seriously everywhere else was closed....at least on the side of the island we were on...but what were we expecting :) It was still pretty good and I was glad to experience some "fast food" while we were there.
