August

What is it about blogging that makes me want to continue posting after I blog once? Seriously though I write one post and then think of ideas for another one. :) So I may most three blogs today. We'll see.

Today is August 3. August is the month of change. It's the month the carefree life of summer ends and the stress of school begins. There is a buzz on campus I quite enjoy in August though. New Students are arriving. Everyone is preparing for the school year. 

I don't want summer to end. I feel like I had my first "grown-up" summer this year. I've worked 40 hours a week all summer long. I didn't go on any long vacations. Usually my sister and I go on a fun trip for at least a week over the summer, but that sadly didn't happen this year. I did go on a couple weekend trips, but nothing too crazy. It's been a really fun summer though. I've grown and gotten to do things I never thought I could do. I've been able to discover what I believe I would love to do in my future professional life, and I've had a blast doing it.

I just wish I had more time. There are a lot of things I haven't figured out yet, and when I realized that it was August a couple of days ago I had a little panic attack. Luckily I have a to do list and I've been checking off those things, and I already feel a little better. I just can't believe it's already August. Why does the summer time always fly by so quickly?
