David Archuleta is going on TOUR!! His very first solo tour, and I got tickets! Unfortunately he isn't coming to Utah, as of now, but he is coming to Idaho Falls during my Spring Break! I decided it would be a blast to go so I invited 3 friends, who I knew loved David Archuleta just like me. :) I planned a little trip yesterday and invited my friends, and when I got a positive reply from all of them I decided to get tickets. Tickets went on sale at 10:00 this morning, and I was extremely excited. I was on my computer at 9:45 and kept pushing refresh, just in case they came early. Luckily for me the link popped up at 9:48. I purchased my tickets, and by 10:01 I got an email saying the transaction had gone through.
The tickets ended up being 23.50 more than I originally thought, but they were VIP and guaranteed early entry and 1-5 rows or pit so I didn't really care. I was late for work by this time, but really didn't care. Work was a very slow today so I spent a lot of time just surfing the internet. I decided randomly to check the ticket site at 11:20 to see if the tickets were still available. I got a reply saying they were sold out! Which I thought was interesting. Sold out in an HOUR!! I then decided to check on a fan site I regularly visit to see if I could find out what time exactly they had sold out. As I was reading I was EXTREMELY surprised to find out that tons of fans didn't get tickets! There were people who were on at 10:03 and found out that it was already sold out. One person was online filling out her info, and when she clicked submit she got a message that said SOLD OUT. Both the general admission and VIP tickets sold out in about 3 - 5 minutes. I couldn't believe it, and I can't believe that I was one of the lucky ones that got tickets!!! I even checked all the scalper sites that at 11:20am had tickets for around $300 dollars, but at this time even they are sold out! This was one of the few concerts he is doing that has actual seats, and I am very excited for the fun Spring Break weekend I now have planned! This last picture is for all of you to enjoy. Oh and FYI I just found out that David is also going to do two concerts in Utah. I kinda wish I would have know that before I bought these tickets. Oh well! Now I get to go to more than one! If anyone is interested in attending with me, let me know! :)
