Today marks 4 years since the day Mom lost her battle with cancer. It has been a long and hard 4 years. Although those years have been filled with a lot of sadness, they have also been filled with happiness. To honor of the mom today I decided I wanted to post some of my favorite pictures of her, and maybe even include some memories.
This song is titled "Song C" by Bruce Hornsby. It is one of Dad's favorites and always reminds me of Mom.
This song is titled We listened to this song at Mom's viewing after everyone had left. It is another one I love.

| This picture is one that we found after mom had passed away. I love how it captures her essence. We had it displayed in our living room for a long time after she died. |
This is my favorite picture of Mom and Dad. It was taken at Six Flags on my choir tour. It always makes me smile.
The girls from our last family annual fall photo shoot. Mom was about to switch chemo medicine and it was supposed to make her lose her hair so we decided to take our photos a little early. Mom was lucky though and never lost her hair.
Heidi just about knocked Mom off the fence. We thought it was hilarious, although she may not have though so at the time. :)
Mom never laughed harder than she laughed with her sisters. I love how this picture captures the love they have for each other.
Mom's smile was infectious.
My favorite picture of the two of us.
The first Farnworth Family reunion. Man I love these two!
My first choir tour. I think Mom loved going even more than I did. I know she wanted to go with everyone, but unfortunately this was the only one she made it on. A short 2 months later, to the date this picture was taken, Mom found out about the cancer.
Mom was a fantastic Young Women's leader. She touched the lives of every girl, and I was so lucky that she was my leader for the majority of my years.
Mom was also a fantastic cook. I am so glad we have this picture of her doing one of the things she did best.
This is the photo we used for Mom's obituary. It was taken at her sister Angie's wedding. I think it is my favorite one of her. That's what she looks like when I think of her today.

Oh Lindsay dear I love your mom so much and have been thinking a lot about her recently. I love these photos you posted. Every single one of them makes me smile.
Your mom touched my life so profoundly. I remember the first time I met her I wanted to be her friend soooo bad but I was a little embarrassed or apprehensive in introducing myself. I'm so glad I got to know her better and eventually work with her in Young Women's where I felt I really grew close to her.
I look forward to seeing her again.
