Life can get a little crazy sometimes, but I wouldn't have it any other way!

Carrie Underwood Concert

Last night my sister Heidi, my cousin Mandy and I were lucky enough to attend the Carrie Underwood Concert. It was held at the E - Center in West Valley. We had a blast before, after and of course during the concert! We left around 4:45ish to head up and stopped for dinner at Sizzler before going to the arena. Mandy kept us laughing. I would tell you why, but she might kill me. :)

After dinner we went and got in line to park. It was seriously a mess! For some reason all the dingbats in front of us weren't utilizing the THREE lanes going into the parking lot. I got sick of waiting so I decided to pull out of the line and drive up one of the other lanes. When I got to the parking attendant and he said, "You Passed....."( I was about to say I know I'm sorry when he said) "...the IQ test." Pretty exciting moment in my life. :) Haha after I did that other cars started to get the hint and followed my lead. I'm a trend setter :) Pretty cool moment ;) Haha After parking we went and got in line, unfortunately I thought it started half and hour before it did so we had to wait a while.

The Concert was amazing!!! Little Big Town opened, and they were good, but not as good as I hoped. They just couldn't get the crowd pumped enough to have a really fun time. After their set, which was really long, we had a little intermission while they set up the stage for Carrie. They were testing the lights so I decided to try and take a picture of the three of us while it was light. Well there were two girls in front of us and one offered to take the picture. After they took it, they asked if I would so I did. Normal enough exchange I thought. Well when I handed their camera back they looked at it and then...kissed! Wow that was weird. When it happened Mandy and I looked at each other like did that really just happen. It was interesting, that's for sure. :) Heidi unfortunately missed it, she was quite sad about that. :) The whole night they were doing things like smacking each others butts and snuggling. It was weird. Not to say that I don't accept that or anything. It was just my first time seeing it in real life so it was a notable experience. Luckily Carrie was amazing so they weren't very distracting.

5 minutes before Carrie came on they put a timer up on the screen to countdown. It really got the crowd pumped :) She entered through the top of the stage and started with Flat on the Floor. Now as most of you know Carrie is really really pretty. Well if you haven't seen her live be prepared cuz she is drop dead gorgeous in real life. I really couldn't believe how pretty she was, it is kinda unfair. ;) There would be no way to describe in full detail how amazing she was. I will try to post some pictures and video later. My favorite songs were "The More Boys I Meet, Some Hearts, I Ain't in Checotah Anymore, Don't Forget to Remember Me, Before He Cheats, Just a Dream and So Small! " She sang almost all the songs from both albums which was awesome! She definitely got all my favorites!

If you ever have a chance to see Carrie in concert jump on it! I have been to many many concerts in my short lifetime and her concert last night beat all of them. Yes I can't believe I'm saying that cuz the American Idol concert was this summer and well that was Amazing too! She has the best stage presence I've ever seen and that really made the show. Josh Groban did good at it too, but you could tell most of his was rehersed. Carrie's was obviously spur of the moment. :) She made a little girls dream come true when she invited her onstage to sing part of All American Girl with her. She waved at people and smiled when she made eye contact. I could just tell that she absolutely LOVED what she was doing! She has the cutest personality and that really shone through.

One of the best parts of the night though was the fact that we didn't have to wait in traffic, and we stayed for every song including both finale numbers! We went through the secret bottom floor door so we didn't have to go down stairs. :) It was fantastic! We made it home in record time and had a blast!

I really hope that I will get to go to another one of her concerts someday because it was one of the best nights of my life! (and on top of it I get to go to the TWILIGHT movie tonight and we have awesome shirts :) I will post pictures)
